I have had the same pair of these since 1986. I wear them mostly for snowshoeing and general snowy weather. These boots are truly water/snow proof and the liners are still going strong after all these years. When they finally need replacement, it's a simple swap-out rather than a whole new pair of boots. They are rather industrial looking but, that being said, these are not designed to make a fashion statement, but rather to be perfectly functional. I have never had a problem with the fit or stability mentioned by other reviewers.
