I read many reviews of how department store boards were cheaply made and often broke endangering the rider. To prevent this, I bought the Positiv skateboard. Although it seems to be the board we wanted, the box it came in had little tape and not enough stuffing paper inside. This allowed the board to fall around the much too big box it was packed in and get behind the closed box flaps. Once it did, it fell upon the scarce tape. Since it was poorly taped, the board became exposed and banged against whatever it layed on or was placed upon it. Like the cement floor it rested on when the UPS man delivered it. The edge was clearly damaged and you could see it had been banged multiple times.

I would not recommend a Positiv skateboard since they cannot package what they sell safely and securly. Nobody will be happy with a delivered damaged gift.
